Oh, i think he/she will be ok with a few crumbs! My dog ate about maybe bowl full of chocolate altogether.(but he is fine). so just try to watch out for foods and stuff on the floor like that too!So if you see something like plastic or chocolate or something he could choke on or get sick, i guess you know to get it before he gets it! P.S i really hope im helping i love animals sooo much! TAKE CARE! :D

Unless your dog weighs about 8 oz., a few crumbs of chocolate won't hurt. I've heard of dogs eating bags of chocolate cookies or tins of chocolates - nothing happened to them except they got a bad case of the runs. It's not a great idea to give them chocolate as a rule, but no, a couple of crumbs should be nothing to be alarmed about. It's never made any of my dogs ill. One of my dogs ate a entire pan of brownies (which was my "birthday cake") last December - she's fine.

Probably more than a few crumbs. Just keep an eye on him and if he vomits or is acting out of the ordinary, call your after hours vet.

My dog once ate 2 of those Snackwells devils food cookies and he was alright. He's 16lb bichon and I was really scared something was going to happen, but nothing did. He didn't even throw up!

Depends on his size and how pure the chocolate is. Bakers chocolate or dark chocolate is far worse than milk chocolate.

In any case, do not let your dog have any, it is not good for him, as you know.

A few crumbs shouldn't hurt a dog, just watch him to see he doesn't get agitated, if he does, call your vet.

If he just ate a few crumbs he/she will be ok most likely. Dogs don't do too well with the caffeine thats in the chocolate. They get wired.

not according to my dog Chocolate who got into the fridge and ate the remaining half of my snickers bar. He is a hardy dog I must say.

If he just ate a few crumbs he'll be OK. They have to eat a lot. I mean like 1 cookie is a lot.

Your dog will be fine.

cocoa powder cooking chocolate are most toxic (ten times more toxic then the other chocolate)

Semi-sweet and dark chocolate and milk chocolate is the least dangerous.

Oh no. It will be fine! They would have to eat a lot. Just watch it a lot. Or just don't leave food out if it can like reach the table.

ALOT. Dark chocolate is the most toxic, but if it was just a little bit it will have no affect on him.
