i am not racist but i mean i have a friend that i used 2 like but never told her. We went on this field trip and one of my freinds says he likes the girl i like. So he wanted 2 text her but he didnt have his cell so he used mine and he didnt know what to tell her so i helped him. And at the end he went out wit her!!! i was so mad for helping him but she thinks that he wrote those nice stuff but i did, but she still doesn't believe me! please tell me why do you girls think that were less attractive? Is she white or black? really, color shouldn't matter, but there is alot of pressure on alot of people to date "like" people... This is wrong, but I've heard of people who get shunned by their own family for being interacial(from both sides), so maybe she's scared of the consequence. Or maybe she didn't feel the same way about you and yet favored your friend.
You shouldn't be too mad if you helped him get her though. it's not too fair to your friend to hear "hey, let me help you get her" then " OMG why didn't you turn her down, you knew I liked her.."

Each person is attracted to myriad of character traits and physical features. Even if you try out other people, eventually most come to realize that on a basic level a certain type of the one they are most drawn to. For instance, even though I can't explain why, I'm attracted to a white men 5'9 to 6'11, with a body thin to average size, a handsome face, balding, hairy (but not too much), nice forearms and hands. I've dated guys that don't meet this, but this is the type of guy who I've married twice. Personality is a whole other topic altogether. Bottom line, attraction isn't a choice.

I am not racist either. I do not think that guys of a different race are less attractive, they are attractive in their own way. I dont know what it is but I only like to date white guys (I myself am white). I think its because my real-life brothers are white and I grew up in a small town with all whites, neighbors, friends, ect. White people are just familiar to me and I know what to expect from them so I wont be surprised. I have always thought that you cant get hurt from someone if you know exactly what to expect from them, you get hurt from someone when you expect one thing and they do something different. Sorry about your situation, it sucks that she believes the other guy wrote the nice things and not you when you were speaking from your heart.

I think for most of us we are attracted to certain people. Not necessarily because the are black or white. At times we may feel more comfortable dating people of our race because we are used to it. But really a hot guy is a hot guy not matter his race. But what each person considers hot differs. Many times the guys who we like are not the ones who like us and the same for guys.
Don't feel bad or mad she is just not for you.

It's not about being less attractive! It's all a matter of preference and appreciation. Don't let one experience leave a huge impression on you. Take it for what it is and move forward. I'm sure you have preference for certain girls or appreciate different qualities depending on their cultural background. It goes both ways so don't take it personal and keep on movin!

You just chose the wrong girl to go after. Its not that girls are so fond of white guys. I used to think the same about black guys until I got older and wiser. You're young. You'll have plenty of time and girls to like, talk to, and date. Me, I was fond of guys that gathered my attention. I didn't care about race. Although I never dated an Asian, I was soooo attracted to Asian guys.
So, try someone else. She might not have been the one for you anyways.

Why is it guys are so fond of white girls? Both questions are absurd. Everyone has different preferences; after all, you are making a generalization about girls' taste in guys based on one girl? Second, the guy made a move on her, while you didn't say anything to her about your feelings.

Different girls like different types of guys. They're not racist either, it just depends on what they're attracted to. I can tell u y I'm fond of white guys. They're cute, and generally nicer than guys of other races. Just my opinion. There are aweful white guys too.

I'm assuming you are not white, by your pic...but what makes you think everyone likes white guys only ??? If you aren't racist, then you're certainly NOT making that point by asking such a question.
I like all kinds of men...some are considered 'ugly' by the public, but whats ugly to one person is endearing or cute to another..
It's all in how YOU choose to look at things, not how they really are...

I don't know about that. I find white guys attractive, yes, but there are some black guys that I find ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!! Especially those football players. I can't even begin to describe. It is not a racial thing, it is just a personal kind of taste thing. I'm sure you'll find someone.
