No if someone gains weight by drinking coffee its not the coffee its the half a cup of sugar and 3/4 of a cup of cream. Black coffee has been shown to assist in weight loss but its not a very significant amount

Coffee, by itself, will not make you gain weight. In fact, it could help you lose weight by speeding up your metabolism a bit. If you add cream and sugar or have it in the form of a latte, that's another story!

Coffee has no calories. That being said, it does have caffeine, which destabilizes your blood sugar levels every time you ingest it. It can cause you to binge eat and also can play havoc with your energy levels during the day, and interfere with your sleep as well. Try decaffeinated coffee or tea, it is better for you. Also caffeine has been linked to breast tumors so as a woman you don't want to mess with that. best of luck

depends on what you put in the coffee. if you add a whole lot of creme and sugar, yes you will put weight on. if you just add sweet'n'low and fat free milk, you'll be OK. tea is the same way. both are actually diuretics and will help you loose a little bit of water weight.

Coffee has no calories and will not make you fat all by itself.

If you put sugar and cream in the coffee and then have a Danish with it that is a different story.

coffee will not make you gain weight unless you put tons of sugar and cream in it.

Coffee is OK if you're not putting flavors in it (cream, sugar, any other flavor, etc.) but you're not really supposed to drink 4 cups a day. Try just one or two. I'm not sure about white tea, but I know green tea by itself actually speeds up your metabolism.
