Without a bunch of opinions, is it better for me to cook certain foods or eat it raw? I know that cooking destroys most all of the vitamins and ALL of the enzymes. Though some boil herbs to get the oils out of them and then use the herbs for health benefits. Please let me know.

I am talking about Vegetables. Of course, with Meat, I know I must cook it. Please also, give me some pointers on Vegetarian, Vegan, or any other such life style. I have came to a conclusion that if I did eat meat, it MUST be organic.

You've already answered your own question about vegetables. Raw foods keep more of the original nutrients in them than the cooked versions.

More importantly, raw foods contain the enzymes needed to digest those foods. If you cook them out of the food, you must use up these enzymes from your own body's storage of them.

Raw foods are better according to most but there was a recent study on TV that said that some cooking, such as steaming is best because it allows our bodies to break down more of the nutrients and absorb them better. I personally do not know who to listen to as everyone has an opinion. Don't forget to add protein to your diet.

Both are healthy, try steaming veggies to lose less vitamins. Some nutrients don't get released until the food is cooked and softened. Raw food is always a good choice too so just give yourself a good mix.

Are you talking about vegetables?
If so - then yes, it's best to eat them fresh and raw.

If you have to cook them, try steaming them for a few minutes. Leaves in all the flavor and most of the nutrients.

Steaming them is much better than boiling as the veggies retain the vitamins if steamed.
