There is nothing in the research I have done to conclude that this word is a form of God's "devine Feminin" so the word is femine in hebrew. in german there is femine male, and neuter as with most language, that applies to the attribute of the word and the word alone.
as near as I can figure from my research the word shekina is used to describe a specific place of dwelling or of rest, therfore the "shekina" glory of the lore the word is an adverb in hebrew to descripe the action and the location of what the Spirit of God was doing as it manefested in the physical.
today this glory that we seek from God dose not rest in a place such as a temple or a singular location. But is imparted to everyone that believe in and accepts The Lord Jesus Christ as Gods devine Son, and the sacrifice that takes away our sins. The Spirit is then free to indwell us, and He did in the Tabernacle of Moses and the temple of Solomon.

The Holy Spirit is only referred to in Scripture as a "He". I don't know where Seth got his information, but "shekinah" is a reference to God's glory displayed in a visible manner (like the pillar of fire).

The only thing I have heard about this is the Holy Spirit being the embodiment of Wisdom, and Wisdom is described with feminine pronouns.
Sorry...can't remember where I saw that.

I read somewhere that Shekhina is a feminist reworking of god or the feminine aspect of god. It's a Jewish thing.
According to the Wiki article, it means dwelling or residence, especially a place where God is present.
It's from the Hebrew, so there are a number of ways to spell it in English letters. But Hebrew words ending in an "ah" sound are typically "female."

The Holy Spirit is HE. Jesus calls Him a He. The Holy Spirit is not female.

Thanks "girlwhoknowsitstrue"!
"The Shekinah is held by many to represent the feminine attributes of the presence of God (shekhinah being a feminine word in Hebrew), based especially on readings of the Talmud.[1]"

G-d has characteristics of both sexes. Remember, "male & female created He them...& in His image". So, both genders reflect attributes of G-d.
