Ok here's the story. I'm 17 (I'll be 18 in exactly a month). This past March, this 22 year old guy that I have known for about four years finally confessed to me that he liked me. I was so flattered because I have never had a boyfriend and he was, in my eyes the perfect guy. We went out one night and hung out with him and his friends and just kissed a little in his car. After he dropped me off, he kissed me and called me before I went to bed to wish me goodnight. I thought everything was perfect and we would be together. However, after that night he didn't call me or even talk to me. My friend talked to me in Chemistry the next day and said she saw him at a party and him and this punk rock chick went upstairs and had sex. So I e-mailed him and basically said **** you for breaking my heart. He sent me a long one back saying that he simply could not date a 17 year old because it made him uncomfortable. He told me that he liked me and would be with me when I turned 18. What should I do?

I have been thinking about him a lot lately and I want him to know that. Ever since that fight, he has e-mailed me and been so nice to me at parties and such. One night we were at a concert and he was with his punk rocker girl and he danced with me the whole night and spent time with me and not her. I don't know what to do! Any suggestions?

Wait a month Holly. He could go to jail for messing with you. He could get into trouble for kissing you already. Look, he is trying to do the right thing by waiting. see what happens in a month.

Perfect guy my a**. He may act like it but he sounds like a giant douche to me. He obviously used the fact your 17 as an excuse to why he slept with this random girl. Otherwise he wouldn't have bothered with you in the first place. Besides, 6 months till your 18 isn't exsactly a long wait if he really cared about you. If you really think about it all and put it together, it seems quite obvious he's just wanting to date you for sex.

you are special and you deserve someone special..

well if you mentioned that you never had a boyfriend..
you do not deserve someone like him...
age is not a factor to stay in a relationship or not
if he really loves you he will wait for you.. and will not go out or even have sex with somebody else while your not on your 18
then when you turned 18 he will just come-up like a mushroom and take what ever he want to take
sorry for the words.. i am just concern
be careful in choosing a right person to love
and always save the best for the last
have a good day..

He is playing with you and her. He is a flirt and a cheat. I waited 6 months for my gf to turn 18 before having sex and inever taught of going and having sex with someone else. He is being nice to you and wants you coz you are pure and he might want to taste you and then dump you or keep you on the side. Plus if he liked you why would he go to some punk girl and have sex with her. My suggestion, forget him and find someone better, he doesnt deserve you. And if you like him and wont be able to forget him or wont find anyone better out there thn him, then its all lie. You will find way better ones thn him. Best of Luck

Holly darling he is using you, and don't buy that excuse he waiting till your eighteen. Few things you have mention there.
(1) He didn't bother to call you the second night.
(2) He went with another girl and slept with her
(3) He comes across as someone who uses woman for one night stands.

So his excuse is hey babe I sleep around with every other girl until yoru eighteen. Holly you deserved better than that.
Tell this guy to get lost.

Wait until you are 18 to decide. But take this month to find out everything about him. Then decide if he is a "good bf material." Think about how he treated the punk rocker chick when you are around. Is she just a friend with benefits. or is she more? But respect yourself first, go with what your gut tells you not your hormones.

sounds to me that if he was with you spending time with you the same night he went upstairs with some other girl he doesnt have the same feelings for you. he may just think your attractive an not really ready to settle down with a GF . he sounds like hes a player type an you could do better, hes not perfect

He does have a point there. He probably wants some sex right now and he can't have it with you due to your age. What would your feelings be if you found out he had sex with a prostitute instead of this other girl?

When you turn 18, see how he acts towards you.

He just wants you as a notch in his condom.

If he can be at a party and go upstairs and have sex as quickly as he did, there is no reason for me to believe you have a future with him.

He doesn't deserve you. There are much better guys out there who don't just think about sex. Few but there are some.

You have experienced the world from a 22 year old guy.
Find it hit it leave it.
Get some one who is your own age that you can hang out with and be comfortable.
You have a long road of dating ahead of you and find someone who has the same situations as you.
Drop him like a hot potato !

I think that you should totally forget about him. It is difficult, I know, but it is necessary. If you two were to get together, you could be just like that punk chick at that concert, together but alone. He doesn't seem dependable, and that is very important in a relationship.
