When you go out with your BF or GF do you prefer sitting next to them or across from them?

Sitting across from them. It makes talking so much easier and I can see them. I can stare at her and it looks like I am just acting normal! lol =) It allows us each our space to eat but still be close together and can talk at flirt from across the table. I think it's more fun that way. =) If we go out to a bar or something I want to be sitting right next to her. That way we can be close and I can put my arm around her, kiss her some and things like that.

It depends on the BF or GF if its your 1st date sit across. But if its like your 10th date or something sit nexts to them.

I prefer sitting next to my husband because that way I can lean on him and hold his hand. However, sitting across I suppose I can see him better. I usually prefer the physical contact, though.
