I just think its funny how when someone disagrees with an answer they report it. What happened with freedom of speech. Its also silly because you can just create a new account. So how come people act like babys and do thumbs down and report answers that arent abusing the guidelines?

Y/A makes it easy for people to report users and thumbs down. The thumbs down button is good for factual questions, so if a user writes an obviously wrong answer, the asker will know. But for the immigration and religion and politics forums, this is more of a discussion board with nothing but opinions. So i think y/A needs to seriously fix this site, cuz i think its unfair that users can get their accounts deleted just because some extremists didn't like their opinions. These users that report will never change, thats why Yahoo needs to fix this s***.

ya, i know what ya mean!!!
and then yask why and then peaple say because you ignorant or stupid and they call ya all kinds of names, but since you dont report peaple!!!
then when ya try to have a intelligent debate their brain farts and short circuits and they call ya a tin foil hat wearer, or someother childish flag wavin bush supportin idiot reports ya!!!
even without any vulgaritys, i once called my fiance my "ol lady"
because she likes being called that and they deleted me!!

Some answers & questions are really rude an offensive some are not about the question. Y/A makes the calls,I got hit for saying i was eating ice cream that's really terrible>?

Why do you ask, did you lose an account recently?? Do you speak from personal experience?? If you violate the guidelines, whose fault is that??

Look, I have reported people that CLEARLY violated guidelines and NOTHING happened. One person made a revolutionary/terroristic threat. The post still stands today. One person uses profane language repeatedly, the post still stands today.
So for the person stating that "if enough people report you", you will get violations/deletions, I say, bull hockey.

I love it when I hear people answer your question with "Did you violate the guidelines?" did these people just fall off the turnip truck last night? To those who say that, let me enlighten you a little...if enough people report you whether you deserve it or not, you'll get violations and suspensions...dont let it fool you...now...to answer your question...
It must make them feel warm and fuzzy inside, it gets done all the time...thats the conclusion I have come to...you will of course have your own opinion which I suspect you do...take care..
