The Parvo-Virus Bundle Shot wich includes bordetella, distemper, and there are a few more in that, this can be administered starting at 8 weeks or older any earlier can kill them

Rabies Vaccination- Can be administered at 4 months or older any earlier can kill them

De-worm can be done along with Parvo-Virus shots

ask you vet to they will tell you the same thing

They need to be dewormed at 2, 4, 6 & 8 weeks of age. As for vaccinations....NO vaccinations before 8 weeks of age.

8-9 weeks distemper/parvo/canine hepatitis/adenovirus-2
12 -14 weeks repeat
16 -18 weeks repeat

Lepto & Parainfluenza are NOT needed by every puppy/dog and should ONLY be given to those at high risk of exposure

coronavirus and adenovirus-1 should NEVER be given to ANY puppy/dog.

The above is according ot AAHA/AVMA and all 27 vet schools current recommended protocol.

For more info see Dr Jean Dodds or Dr Ron Schultz sites
Also get the November 2006 issue of Whole Dog Journal. It has a great article on vaccinating.

Vaccines should be given be a veterinarian.

But most commonly you start the Distemper series and possibly corona (depends on the risks in your area).

Make sure the distemper is only a "DHPP"
Some distempers have more strains of viruses such as "L" for Leptosporsis or "CV" for Corona.

The more that is in the combo for the distemper the more you have to worry about the risk of reaction. Check with a local vet on their protocols

Deworming should be done every two weeks until 16weeks of age. Dewormers should be dispensed from a vet only. Over the counter dewormers are NOT SAFE

They need a VET CHECK!!! Hearts should be listened to in Golden puppies because they can have a genetic defect called SAS...Sub-aortic stenosis. So, since I DOUBT you are a real breeder and going to get them to a Board Certified Cardiologist, at least get them checked by a VET!!!! If you sell a pup with a murmur, you can get sued for vet bills!!!!

The vet can tell you what vaccines AND worming they need!!!

Call your vet and ask them which they like to do. I usually took them in at 6 weeks old for their first shorts and
de- worming. Then after that the new owners can pick up on the vacinations for their pup ok.

Call your vet to see what they would prefer doing ok.
Taren the pups should be de-wormed now but please get the de-wormer from your vet. OK.

Each breeder and each vet has their own protocol for these things. You need to speak with your own vet to see which they would like you to follow ok.
