The body normally expels about one ounce per hour.
If you're wasted it may take longer than the time calculated.
Don't depend on that to pass a sobriety test.
It only takes one beer to fail. Beer is usually 7.0%.

24 hours to be safe-and you can never be too safe in this case. But if you're at all in doubt, just call a cab. Trust me, it's a lot easier and safer than a DUI!

Well according to your answer wasted to me would mean falling down drunk. So I would have to say the safest time would be 6-8 hours after you have stopped drinking.

Seriously, if you are thinking about driving shortly after drinking/partying--DON'T.
Either stay over or have someone drive you where you need to go. (I assume you do look at the news.)

for the average person you body gets rid of about one drink per hour and you BAC drops about .02
each drink adds about .02 to your BAC .08 is legally drunk in most states
one drink =
12 oz beer
4 oz of malt beverage or wine
1 oz of liquor..
But these are not gospel law it is different for different people.....You can still be in trouble for only having "a couple"
so don't even chance drinking and driving
