I've heard it pronounced both ways. Teh Portuguese pronounce it Fat-I-ma, adn I believe the Arabs pronounce it FA-tima, both would be acceptable. Actually, the correct way is how that person pronounces it.

Ti as in tikka (asain dish chicken Tikka if u know it)

yeah, my brother's friend is called fatima, i just call her fat-i-ma but i don't know, it's probably the other one. oh well!
