A family member is being held on drug trafficking in florida.
He has been advised that if a motion to supress evidence is filed and or if he wants to go to trial he will be found guilty and given life. How is it the feds can get away with this?

They do have to abide by the law.

Telling him that doesn't make it true. He is entitled to a lawyer who can counter that with his own legal advice.
