I have this adobe premier thing that came with my computer in an adobe folder. The adobe folder came with photoshop elements. Well I just bought Photoshop CS3 Extended for web design and what not. And now my new photoshop has messed up stuff. No colors are working. They are just gray, white, and black are the only colors that will work. And my rectangular tool wont work in cs3 but it will in elements. Do I uninstall premiere with elements and then uninstall and reinstall cs3? Would it be that it recognizes it has two photoshops. Whats the deal? None of my stuff is working correctly. It didnt install in the adobe folder though. Its separtate with all the other programs cs3 came with. Could that be it? I need help...

Uninstall Premiere and Elements and see if this accommodates Photoshop's problems.
If not, then probably the Photoshop settings file has been corrupted. Instead of remove and install again CS3 you can reset the Photoshop settings to the the factory defaults:

1. Hold down Ctrl+Alt+Shift buttons while you launch Photoshop.
2. As Photoshop loads, you should get a prompt asking if you would like to “delete the Photoshop settings file”, Click Yes.

Now CS3 should be as if it has been just installed.
