Boxers are GREAT with kids, they are one of the best family dogs around. They are very gentle and love to play, and will protect your kids to the death. You can't go wrong with a boxer in your home!

Boxers are great with kids, but if the kids are very small you might consider a calmer breed. Boxer's are overly lovable and tend to knock small children down. If I'm not mistaken they a considered number 5 in top family pets.

Boxers are hyper for the first few years of their life. They are okay around children as long as kids understand not to bug them as some kids to do dogs.

YES!!! I have one and 2 kids. Boxers are very protective of the family. My boxer is protective and is great with the kids. She loves to play with them when they are playing basketball or whatever. They are very lovable and my was extremely easy to train. I wouldn't have any other breed. This is our 3rd boxer and the previous 2 was the same.

Yes, as long as you raise them and train them starting when they are young. If you have small children, I would not recommend getting a rescue boxer who is already two years or so old because they might already be aggressive and you need to be safe since it is going to be around children.

I've only been around boxers a few times, and while they can be a large dog, they never displayed anything but gentleness.

Yes, Dog fightings gives them bad reps. Any dog that is brought up right is ok around children.

Not just boxers if anydog is brought up right they can do well near children

Those are great dogs, my neighbor had one named jack when i was like 5 or 6 and i loved him

my boxer is very friendly! they are sooooo great with kids. but they can get mean if they had a bad experience as a pup with kids. my boxers dad was mean to kids because as he was growing up, kids thew rocks at him.
