No, you're just going to make him feel self conscious. Act like it was no big deal unless he brings it up. Not to worry, he was probably embarrassed, too.

Just tell him he's an outstanding brother. You also get the point about next time knocking on the bathroom door before coming in.

darlin, you did nothing wrong at all and shouldnt be embarrassed or feel guilty for what happened in your community bathroom. it was all innocent and a new experience for you. you have a close family and regardless of what alot of people said here, i think it was right that you talked to your mother about it. you dont have to apologize to your brother, he understands that you were surprised and had never seen that. well, now one of the great mysteries to young girls has been explained to you. you did nothing wrong darlin. take care.

I think it`s nice that a family can talk openly together. Your brother doesn`t seem to have a problem, so you shouldn`t either.
I think I would knock on the door with the bathroom situation from now on tho.....

Yes, and I think it is time for you to wait till your brother is finished in the bathroom before you enter. We all need our privacy and sooner or later you will go through changes and might not want anyone in the bathroom with you.

Talking to your mom shows you have a good relationship with her.
If your brother were really protecive, he'd have covered up. As it is, you have nothing to apologize for--he exposed himself. The only place I can see that conversation going is for him to brag about his size and, if you haven't seen any others, you won't be able to add anything to the conversation.

you don't have to be all worried about this.
you weren't trying to intrude, and didn't realize he was getting out of the shower, etc.
you are fortunate you have a good relationship with your mom and can discuss these things -- listen to her
just go on with your life...

i think since your getting older you guys should start knocking and not sharing the bathroom. has he walked in on you naked? anyway i wouldn't talk to him about what happened, unless simply apologizing for walking in on him. i don't think i'd mention the penis. or maybe just leave it as is.

Psssh...don't sweat it. If he minded he would have pounded you already. Guys get erections for any reason possible, scooping ice cream, taking out the trash, anything.
