You should get at least three servings of calcium per day. Milk has 30% of your daily value, so have some with every meal and you'd be doing great. It's good to spread it out because your body can only absorb and utilize so much at once, excreting out the rest. Their are other sources of calcium like cheese and yogurt so you don't have to be confined to just milk.
Another way to increase bone density is to do weight bearing exercise like running and walking. Since you pound the ground with your legs you body adapts and makes them strong. Good question and good luck.

You need to drink 2 to three glasses a day. You wont really see a difference in how the extra calcium effects you, unless you have a defficency. It may help you be less tired, and help you sleep better at night. And if you fall, you have the added bonus of a lesser chance you break something. :]

your body does not digest milk. are you a baby calf? milk is for baby cows not humans. there are more nutrients in a cup of broccoli than a cup of milk. don't fall for those milk commercials. if i was a dairy farmer i would have commercials too. the same way grain and wheat farmers are trying to make a bad name for low carb diets.

they say you are supposed to drink 4 cups a day. but see i don't like the taste of milk so much. so if you don't wanna drink milk. do other dairy types. like yogart and cheeese!
