Could you get sick from kissing someone that is chewing tobacco?
My boyfriend is a chewer.Yeah I know just gross.I had no idea that he chewed at first.I always wondered if you made out with someone while they were chewing if you could get sick.Could you get sick from kissing someone that is chewing tobacco?

It's basically the nicotine in the tobacco. My husband dips every once in a while and I usually don't do much kissing when he is. It's kinda gross, and I think it would be awfully disgusting getting tobacco my mouth from his dip. I have tried it once, so I know what the sensation is. You don't feel it at first, but a few minutes after the dip's in, you get warm and tingly, and it's kind of like a head rush. He told me to sit down when I tried it, mainly becuase I'm not a smoker anymore, and my body isn't used to the nicotine, let alone how concentrated it is in chew. I would advise against making out with him with a dip in. It could definetly give you a stomach ache, and make you nauseous. Especially since when it's in his mouth, thats what brings the nicotine out, and you could get a lot from his saliva. Yuck.

No you can't get sick from kissing someone that is chewing tobacco but just the thought of doing that is enough to make me sick.
My boyfriend in high school (yes I can remember back that far) chewed Copenhagen. Nasty habit. I go so I wouldn't go out with him unless he wasn't chewing....so he would not chew when we were on a date.
The same goes for smoking. If you don't smoke yourself then the smell of their breath and clothes (not to mention the car) is enough to gag a maggot.
So if a guy is going to ask me out I ask do you smoke or chew tobacco...if they say yes then I say no....if they have the balls to ask if I am too good for that then I also say yes. I don't care for the smell or the bad taste. If you want to take me out don't smoke or chew. If you don't want to not do that for 3 hours then ask someone else.
If they want to be idiots and kill themselves on their own time then that is fine but it is not ok to smoke or chew on my time.

it's possible. you won't get like, sick sick, but there is a slight chance you could get a stomach ache. when i started dating my ex bf, i had never smoked and he did a lot and i felt the same way after the first few times we made out.

not really sure, but i suggest you don't make out with 'em. i mean, if you guys are making out while he has the tobacco in his mouth, that's just really sick.

AFTER YOUR BF FINDS OUT HE HAS MOUTH AND/OR
THROAT CANCER, MAYBE HE'LL GIVE UP THIS NASTY HABIT.
