The recognition that there is always more to learn. Each day, indeed each moment, offers an opportunity to expand my understanding of this universe, our world, the people and other life forms that inhabit it, and how they all interlink with one another. I expect there's enough here to keep humanity scrounging around for new stuff to discover for quite some time to come.

Because it can't be bad all the time. Even if good times are a long ways away, or so far that I can't even imagine when I'll be happy again, I just know that things get better. That's not optimism, that's a fact. Nothing last forever, not even sadness.

Knowing that life comes at you in cycles...the better times are ahead. In the end, loving each other through these difficult times is what matters because we are defined by our actions and words in how we handle ourselves through adversity...not throught the easy or good times.

Knowing, less any arrogance, that long before the injuries and alterations, I endured obedient. I loved life, embraced it with respect, loved women when women loved being loved, and sought to embrace peace, joy, comfort, and kindness.
Thought that one day the cosmos will reverse all damage, and life may be restored.

God's love for me and knowing Jesus went through much more than I ever could and his spirit lives in me. I try to give my stress and worries to God because he is much bigger than me and promises to give us peace of mind and help us. But if we worry and don't give it to God, then we are double minded like the storm tossed sea. When we go to God we have to trust Him and truly give our problems to Him. Joyce Meyer website has a lot of good anwers to this question.

The knowledge that I am not a "depressed suicidal emo"
We all know that they live comfortably in middle-class residential communities and would sh*t themselves if anarchy ever came, because Hot Topic would close down and they wouldn't be able to buy their crap.

I know that Jesus died for me and I owe all of my life to Him. So I want to do all for Him that He has for me.
