What kind of camera should I be looking into. I'm not gonna be diving more than 60 feet. I want something that takes pictures, video is an option. Something affordable. UNder $400. If you have any experience with underwater cameras, please let me know. I currently have a Canon SD 400 and I can get a case for it but I don't know if that messes with the quality of the images. Any information will be helpful.

if you can get a case then that would be your best answer most cases only cover you to fourth feet unless I'm mistaken. it should not mess with the image quality just make sure your lens is clean and that the inside of the case is spot less. i have an Olympus stylus 720sw its only good to ten feet but takes amazing photos under water. full video with audio. hope this helps.
