place an ice pack on the back of your neck and lay in a darkened room for fifteen minutes, several times a day. Massage Vicks vapor rub Into the temples. This will often help remove headaches.

Excederin migraine is excellent. You can also try the sinus type because maybe that is why you have the headache; allergies or sinus problems. You really should be seen by a doctor. He can tell you what type of headaches you have. There is also something called "rebound headache", which you can get if you over medicate and the headaches come back and are worse than before. There are cluster headaches, migraine headaches, tension headaches, sinus headaches, etc. and you need to find out, first: why do you have them; and second; which remedy will suit you and the symptoms you are experiencing. I have had headaches for years and have most recently had the best luck with the Excederin Migraine but there are periods where I need to have a prescription for the migraines because the over the counter stuff doesn't work. Good luck.

Have you tried lavender?
A Native American medicine woman taught me that lavender is good for headaches and tension.
Take dried lavender leaves and flowers and put them in a sachet (a small piece of cloth tied at the top like a little drawstring purse only small) like something you could put on a string around your neck like a necklace.
I have always had a lavender sachet at the head of my bed. If I am upset about something, I rub it in my hands and then the scent comes out and relaxes me. And take deep breaths.
My daughter used to have a lavender sachet necklace when she was in Jr High. She had headaches and tension.
