Hair is dead as soon as it exits the follicle, lady up there^ Hair is not a living thing which is why you need to take care of it, it has no capacity to repair or heal itself.
Sorry girl, but you will have to cut it. better to cut it to the healthy part than try to leave it with conditioning treatments, it is damaged beyond those if you burned it, trust me.
I don't know what kind of money you have to donate to this problem, but you can conceal the hairless spot with extensions if it's bad. if you have $ try going to a website called doctored locks, if you don't go to a sallys and tell them your prob, see what kind of hair they offer there, it will probably not be quality, but its better than nothing. You can get clip ins, these are probably best for you, if you would die cutting off the long hair you've had forever.
If you haven't got the money for even that and have the guts, consider a new hairstyle. Any complete hairstyle - however short- will look better than the one you have with a chunk burnt out. If you can use other hair you haven't burned to conceal the spot, you can try that as well. I'm just warning you to make sure to have all the damaged hair removed, or it will split up the shafts and you will have more damage to undo. That's why they tell you to be sure to have your hair trimmed regularly, it will mess up your good hair if you don't get it cut off before the damage spreads.

You'll definitely have to cut it. I burnt my hair when I was little from bending over a candle, and the smell of the hair will make YOU stink for quite a few days unless it's taken off. Make sure to cut off a few centimeters above where it was burnt so that you have healthy ends, and apply some deep cream conditioner to the ends as well to keep them from getting dried out.

I'm a hairdresser, and i'll tell you the truth, once its burnt theres nothing you can do but cut the burnt off.
and make sure you get your hair cut soon, the burnt pieces can stop the ress of your hair from growing.
also for damaged hair, use a really good conditioner.
:)

Sorry, you will have to get it cut. Unless you want to go around with burnt hair for like a year.

It depends on how roasted your hair is. But seriously, go to the Co-op/ Farmer's Feed store and get some conditioner's for horses hair. Mane and tail is a good brand. Don't buy the one for human hair. Get the one for horses, its really great and it will help your hair heal.

The only healthy solution would be to get a haircut. You don't
have to get it cut super short, just get some layers and your hair can stay the same length. Good luck!

You're going to have to get it cut, sorry. But try to use a lot of conditioner and moisturizer. That may help.
