Just because I believe in God and Christ does not make anyone more than wrong. In fact, in my opinion it's none of my business what others believe. While I enjoy sharing my beliefs, they have no religion to lean on, they just don't fit anywhere. However in an open-minded discussion I may just learn something, and they might be able to take something new with them as well. It is not my call to determine who is right or wrong. I believe I will be judged as I judge, so I try very hard not to judge anyone. The only judging I do participate in is if someone is good or bad for me to be around. I think I need to do that.
Why can't we agree that we disagree and get on with it?
may Peace be with you

One can say that Christians are ALREADY wrong, Pretty much every tenent of christianity is listed within the OT as abominations or contradictary to the teachings of their 'Jesus'.
Human sacrifice for the forgivness of sin was an abomination. Sacrificing such offerings upon HIGH PLACES, like Mt. Calvary was also an abomination. The drinking of blood, communion, was also an abominaiton. Even the concept of Trinity would be in violation of the OT idoltry law. Converting people was also a major no-no in both the OT and the teachings of 'Jesus'. "Jesus' in Matt 23:15 even curses those the convert people, the translated 'woe' within the text is from a hebrew CURSE.
In hosea and Habakkuk, we learn of the 'sons of ephraim'--the Canaanites, they venerated a stick of wood, offered up human sacrifice upon high places--like MT Calvary, used human sacrifice for the forgiveness of sin, and relished in their sin, just as Christians do. If these were all abominations condemning the 'sons of ephraim", then how could a christian think them righteous?
But what can one expect from a bunch of sinners? The first thing a person does in becoming a Christian is BECOME A SINNER---another connection with the 'sons of ephraim' in Habakuk and Hosea...see hab 2:16
If a sinner is willing to LIE and DEFY their OWN god, truth is NOTHING is really sacred to them. If a sinner is willing to LIE and DEFY their OWN god, its not one really can expect morality and knowledge from them.

Yes, if atheists are right, not only are Christians wrong, but we're delusional and dishonest.
I've actually been thinking about something along those lines all day. I'm going through one of those times where I have to reexamine my faith, and figure out exactly why I believe. I've had many of those since I became a Christian.
That's fine with me.

Atheists believe in nothing. Christians believe in the truth. How can someone be MORE than wrong? Is that like "wrongest?"
Sorry, I don't agree with you because the whole premise of your question is just a set up for a debate between who is wrong/right. And that will only be found in death. I don't think ANYONE will celebrate being wrong when it happens.

As an atheist I don't claim that Christians are wrong. I think it the thought of them being right is only a minuscule possibility but I cannot prove that they are wrong. Nor that I am right for that matter.

Does this question have a purpose? All you're asking is "Do we agree?". So when you're done, all you'll have is a bunch of opinions, no facts.
Where's your sign? Sheeesh!
EDIT: How in the world is it threatening? Where's YOUR dictionary, pal? They may be errant in saying that, but they're certainly not threatening anyone. I think someone's a little obsessed and deluded. Ha!

Who is any body to say something/ someone is right or wrong when it comes to religious and spiritual beliefs?
What matters is a person's C-H-A-R-A-C-T-E-R - his/her relationship and how s/he treats themselves, others, nature/ the world around them.

first, i'm entitled to my own anti-religious beliefs. second, christians are entitled to their religious beliefs. i don't believe one is better over the other. however, i do believe being an atheists better fits me. everyone is different. i don't care what others believe as long as they don't force their religion on me.
