With Quebec & Zion, I think of places that are socially different from their surrounding geographies, although I would use the name "Israel" instead of Zion. I don't know enough about Chechnya or... Euzkadi? And even as an American, I've never heard of Aztlan. I did a quick search on it, and it's a mythic place in MESOAMERICA, not the USA, so... huh?
