Do you think......?
Its only just a little too late by now. We have destroyed many countries over the last century, Vietnam, Japan, Iraq.....
The US government is responsible for all of these. The Americans hold their personal power over the world as a basic right apparently. They tend to lean towards the belief that they are the local cops and therefore contol the behaviour of the rest of the world, especially if it has anything to do with their wealth as a nation, the MAIN reason the US went to Iraq was to protect their "apparent right" (or so they think) to get oil from the local area. If there was no oil in Iraq Bush wouldnt go there, look at Africa, Zimbabwe, nothing there but a mindless leader, no oil so Bush dosent give two hoots about it. See what i mean?
The Americans are by nature a dominering type, they like to be in control, they are obnoxious, downright uneducated usually, noisy and pushy, especially when its their future you hold.
The west is seriously in need of a shake up in terms of the way governments are run, we will see a major shift in Australia in the next couple of months with a most likely Labor, Greens government formed, the US - well who knows what is going t happen there but the less support they get from d!ckheads like John Howard the better off the restof the world would be.

Let's see, you want the world to unite, and say "no" to the people at the top - by this you mean the President, Congress, etc?
But then you go on to say we as a human race need to join together to stop the rich and powerful from causing anymore war.
I don't think the rich had anything to do with the way - Bill Gates, Oprah, and so on tend to mind their own business, I haven't heard of them getting involved in any wars.
So - I think we should stand united as a Country and be behind those in office regardless of if we agree or not.

Well, generally, the rich nations don't start the wars. The war on terror is a response to more than thirty years of terrorist attacking the U.S. All of the other skirmishes in the world are being waged by relatively poor nations on their own people.......Rwanda for example. The war in Vietnam wasn't started by us, we stepped in to prevent a Communist regime trying to militarily control the region.....history is what it is...should try reading up on history....not just reading, or watching the msm.

Not a student of history or Human Nature, are you?
Whose going to be the leader? And once you (naively) helped this "leader" stop causing wars, and he/she is the sole leader of Earth, and you become one of the 99% Peasant Class....
You'll be PRAYING for revolution (aka WAR) to fight the dictator!
What Price Peace? Yor freedom?
(This is why the United States is going to hell in a handbasket!)

This is a great idea. I would like to invite you to go find Zawahari and Ahmenidijad as well as to lead the delegation to N. Korea and the Sudan.
If you make it past the first meeting and complet the first four successfully, I have a list of about 30 countries in Africa you'll need to speak to 3 or 4 sides with and we may finally make some headway.
Until then, you're going to have to be satisfied that the US military and our allies are doing what we can to prevent these evil murderers from killing unarmed civilians to the best of our abilities.

What the hell? You should always do what is RIGHT not what is popular! Why the hell do you think segregation was abolished and women can vote? Because they didn't roll over and take it in the cornhole, they stood up and fought for what was right, not what the people in the office thought.
Seriously, your logic frightens me...

Yes. Let us gather around the "Kumbaya Table". Let us even invite the Salafist Jihadists who have been carrying out these acts of terror on innocent civilians. But, you'll have to excuse my absence. I don't want to be in the room when they enter and start shooting those naive folks in the head.
