I'm making mini meatloaf and my recipe makes 6 but I only need 3 now. Should I cook all 6 and freeze the meatloaf cooked or should I freeze them without cooking first.

I've always had much better luck cooking them first and then freezing. Once it has cooled wrap with saran wrap first then tin foil. I've kept them this way for 3 months in the freezer. Good luck!

I have had very good luck cooking them first, then freezing them. I have even done this with a half a leftover meatloaf. They heat up very nicely. I usually thaw them in the fridge before reheating them.

Freeze them before cooking and they will be much more moist. Either way it will be edible but think about it this way, you will lose the juiciness twice if you cook, freeze and then reheat. If they are mini loaves it will only take a short time to thaw them before cooking.

meatloaf freezes well in a freezer bag or tinfoil. After draining loaf, remove it from the pan and wrap in foil or place in bag, freeze immediately. To reheat, place frozen loaf back into loaf pan, cover with tinfoil and heat 350° F oven until heated through, approximately 20 minutes.
