What am I doing about it? Well for one I'm not radically changing my lifestyle for something that's a natural occurrence in nature cupcake. I already recycle some things, such as aluminum cans, paper etc. CFL's? forget it, I have bought two so far and don't care for the light they put out. I'll stick with incandescent bulbs, at least while they are still legal to purchase.

You global warming people or are you climate change people now? Who really knows, why have they changed the name of it already? They must have realized that people are growing tired of hearing all the lies and had to change the name, you know, to keep the topic "fresh" lol

At any rate, you "global warming" "climate change" people are going to wake up soon and wonder where all your rights to choose as an individual went. Oh that's right, you gave them up to the BIG hoax in the hope BIG government would save you from the Evil corporations and in some cases, yourself. Instead you're playing right into their hands, it's time to wake up before it's to late or you can just be a good little sheep and do what you are told. lol

I don't use public transportation. It is way too scary... I've been attacked while waiting at a bus stop before, so I do still have a car whch doesn't really help the environment, though I do carpool so it isn't so bad. I try when I can to turn off appliances and also use fluorescent bulbs.

In response to an answer above, you can get a fluorescent bulb for a dollar and they last way longer than normal light bulbs... it isn't that big of a deal. Regardless of what you may think about global warming we still need to fix some things that deal with the environment. Just because car emissions aren't causing global warming doesn't mean they are good. Smog is still a big problem and is a major health issue for those in larger cities. Here in Riverside County we have the worst smog in the country! (I can breathe easier when I visit Los Angeles).

So I guess my main issue with people is that we need to protect our children now (My daughter is at serious risk of developing asthma) instead of bickering about who is right or wrong about global warming.

And don't even tell me the smog here is natural, just don't.

I'm telling the rich and well to do to conserve but its not working . I just seen old fat rich Sally go 2 block in her SUV to get 5 lbs of ham for dinner tonight . She could have walked there faster then opening the garage door and burned a few pounds off her fat behind but i guess the rich just don't give a darn .Live for today tomorrow we may die that's the way the rich think.

Come on how much better did your men or woman look when you didn't have it so good . All you that have it made take a good look at your spouse now and then and see how much weight they put on . You are the ones not conserving

I personally do not believe we are actually having a global warming crisis. Mr Suzuki, who is sooo prevalent in the global warming fight, was also sooo prevalent in the ice age we were apparently having about 30 years ago!! hmmmm Perhaps (and what I believe) this is just the Earth doing its own thing naturally-regardless of what we do to the planets atmosphere. The planet has been around for millions of years without any ill-effect (and it has had much worse pollution pumped into the atmosphere by the planet itself than we ever will), and will be here long after our species has become extinct. What am I doing? Only those things that really I am forced to do by the govt-like recycling household waste, and recently it was announced that soon all incandescent bulbs will be illegal to sell in this province (really stupid idea that is!!) and we will all be forced to spend much more money on florescent bulbs, whether we want them or not. Just the govt trying another tactic to control the masses and what they do and how they do it, not to mention the huge cash grab it will be for them. Thanks for asking though.

I will not give a penny to companies using global warming to make a buck any more than I will smoke to give money to tobacco.companies. Buy non organic food. Just as good and probably better for you (ask those who got e-coli from organic lettuce and spinach). If you like green buy yourself a cheap can of green spray paint. It makes a lot of things green! Buy the old fashion light bulbs they are several dollars cheaper and you will know you kept GE from using the global warming myth to increase their billions.

my family builds homes with solar panels and green materials and we often attend green seminars in california. we drive alternative fuel vehicles as well. if everyone were to take these small steps it would definitely help the enviorment. whether or not u believe global warming is man made, it is a fact the what we are doing isnt good for the environment. if this isnt a priority of yours switching to alternative fuel is cheaper in the long run. solar pays for itself in a few years and is therfore a better choice financially. if u were to drive an electric or hybrid vehicle u would lessen your worry about gas prices. if u dont want to live a green lifestyle for the environment then do it because it is a more savvy lifestyle.

to suggest that man can affect the global environment to the extreme that global warming alarmists are suggesting is the height of arrogance. might we have a small effect? yes. something like dumping an olympic sized swimming of water into the ocean and then claim a huge sea level rise.

1. Limit what damage we are doing to the oceans: When we wash our clothes, where do the soaps rinse to? Use organic products, not toxic products.
2. Buy a hybrid or use FFI products to reduce emissions and improve MPG.
3. Recycle.
4. Conserve - energy, water, everything.

Not much. Since man doesn't contribute to climate change, there is nothing man can do to resolve the problem.
