Low class or high class?

Fresno is a dump. Nothing good there and very hispanic. I wouldn't recommend anyone live there.

Fresno sux, most of the valley here does.
I don't care for Fresno though, Visalia is OK.
Tulare is terrible. the only town I like in this area is called Exeter, its small, quiet, low crime, quaint looking..but if you want excitement, it would not be the place for you.
I prefer small towns though to live in and save the fast big places to visit..but NOT Fresno. we are close to the national parks, so thats good and the coast is 2 and a half hours from us..but in general? no this is not a good place..its polluted beyond words..and very hot in summer..its been 100 degrees almost daily. and will be until late October.

Fresno is very middle class. There are a lot of working poor and welfare people, so the crime rate is high in some areas. But the outer suburbs are very, very nice.
If you like to camp, ski, or water ski, it's very centally located for those activities. It's very close to Yosemite and Kings Canyon.
If you like to gamble, there are a number of "indian" casinos within an hour. And more on the way.

lot's of hispanic people, not much to see. Pretty much a scary place to stop for gas between la and sf. Try to move somewhere else. Bass lake is not far from there, and it's really nice.

Fresno is kinda an arm pit. I always hated driving through it. avoid it if all possible. if you want a nice city in that area monteray is GORGEOUS and more coastal

Just my opinion - lower class Hispanic, farming community -HOT, HOT, HOT and I'm not talking about sexy.
