i assume your running XP? if so download this...

http://downloads.sourceforge.net/gimp-win/gtk%2B-2.10.13-setup.exe

and this.....

http://downloads.sourceforge.net/gimp-win/gimp-2.2.17-i586-setup.exe

run the first, then the second

For Windows version try here:

then unzip the file and run the setup program.

Finding this on the gimp.org site is difficult.
