Everyone calls me ugly but why?

Everywhere I go I get called ugly.Either that or I get ignored or people are horrible to me.Even my best friend calls me ugly and laughs at me.I have never even had a date.The trouble is I don't think I'm ugly(okay I'm beautiful but I think I qualify as pretty),I have quite nice hair,I dress well and have quite a pretty face.I am really shy(and these comments are really making it worse) but I have a nice personality so it's not like I'm getting called ugly because I'm horibble.Maybe the reason I don't have a date is because of my shyness.But some other people at my school who are quite ugly get compliments all the time.So why do I always get called ugly?Please someone help because I really don't understand :(

BTW that is supposed to be "not beautiful" not "beautiful".

I'm sorry I don't want to post a pic incase every else says I'm ugly.And one of the comments on here said that I loved myself and I think I'm beautiful but I really don't I just don't think I'm THAT bad.

You probably have never had a date because u are shy. And because u have never had a date people tend to think that u are not pretty. Its stupid. I delt with that too but i never really cared. And most likely they'll get over it. I have no doubt that u r pretty. Just go with the flow. I'm sure u get hurt everytime someone says that and thats why they keep saying it. People love to hurt others. Just act as if u don't care. Also the people who are calling u ugly are the ones that have very low self esteem. They try to make themselves feel better but insulting others. Don't think too much of it. Its gonna change.

first and foremost sweetie you are not UGLY. you are very beautiful inside and out. DONT ever let anyone tell you different. maybe you should try hanging out with new friends one that will respect you and not show off when others are around. you have the right attitude so what they say mean things but tell them you are beautiful and so are your grades. see get on another level with them. go at them academically and if they cant hang they will step back and think damn this girl is smart and pretty. and alot of times kids dont know how to be friends with someone they want to be friends with so they tease the weaker one. speak up for yourself. stop hanging out with these people change your friends sweetie. stay beautiful in attitude, education, and outwards. your not ugly, you are pretty. every girl is. you said you were very shy, so i think you need confidence boosters. try listening to songs that boost confidence like taylor swifts Stay Beautiful and Martina McBride's This One's for the Girls" when you feel down. practice smiling and talking to people. if you don't talk to people, then they won't talk to you. then you will feel like you are getting ignored. just put yourself out there and remeber you are beautiful the way you are!!! and that it matters whats on the inside, not the outside.


and if your best friend tells you your ugly, then they oboviously just care about looks, so find a new BFF. and any guy that doesn't talk to you because they think you aren't pretty, well they are just a waste of your time!

Just ignor those people and be friend some others. YOu know, it's like I said to someone else-not only in this forum recenlty, but to someone else some years ago, offline-
the fact someone thinks something bad about you, doesn't make it true. You do. Look in the mirror. Do you see what they see? Or do you look better in the mirror, than they think?
That's the view of you, you should accept.

Why are people at your school just going around calling each other ugly all day? Don't they go to class or anything?

hey ... you have to be confiedent u r woman and no woman is ugly ..... dont even say this word ... alllllllllllll women are beautiful but there are women who are more beautiful than other, so u r beautiful ..... god does not wrong people he might give some girl beauty but a bad personality , at this time beauty will be useless and wortless ...... it's all about personlity that will make you continue with ur boyfriend or husband or whtever u have to know that it is ur power point

Without looking at you, I can't be sure. Is it the way you dress? Are you clean and neat looking? Do you think your shyness might be interpreted as "stuck on yourself"?? Sometimes people who seem self-absorbed seem ugly to us. But, I'd definitely get a new best friend if he/she calls you ugly. That's terrible. "Ugly Betty" on TV is a beautiful person inside. Be like her and you'll do okay.

dont let what they say hurt you. they are all just saying that to make themselves feel prettier inside, but on the outside and inside they are just ugly people. u are beautiful if u say u are beautiful. be posotive about everything. i think that u shouldent be friends with that person who was calling u ugly. that is just plain mean.
but break out of ur shell. wear out there things. just be crazy and have fun! love who u are! we are all beautiful in our own ways!!

Maybe you are very very pretty and they are jealous, people can be very strange. People used to say it to me when i was at school but now every one says im good looking, try to take no notice of them. Ive always been very shy aswell.

dont listen to them and if you go to any european or latin american country all you are gonna here is what a beautiful angel you are and you are a queen and a princess and the love of my life ...ay ay ay you have stolen my heart...if you ared looking for self confidence go visit one of those places...but the compliments get cheesey and annoying after a while!
