and i live in belize so they usually aren't into us but worst they tease me and do bad imitations of how i talk chinese

racism. that happens to me too. im korean but they always try to talk asian languages when they cant and make theire eyes wide.
i dont like it when they do that kinda stuff and it really pisses me off. i juss ignore them. try ignoring them too.

It's just a hunch, but I think there's actually, another reason
and that the fact you're Chinese isn't really a valid excuse. I don't know anything about you, but maybe it's because of your voice and or height. Maybe the immatations is pure mockery. I'm not sure, but I think men n Belize have little respect for women.

Be proud of who you are. There's always gonna be people that make fun of other people but don't take it seriously. At least you understand their language but could they understand yours? No. That's a plus for you. Just don't be mean though because they will really tease to a point of hurting you personally.

it's strange that white or black ppl who live in china don't get teased by asian ppl but somehow when asian ppl live in foreign countries, almost all of them get teased by white or black ppl.
it's simply a racism.
maybe those ppl think asians are second citizen.
just ignore them. they are ignorant.
don't try to fight back. it would be waste of your time.
