I have gotten a filling done on my tooth next to my front ones. And it is hurting. I got the filling done about 5 months ago or less and it just started hurting yesterday. I dont want a root canal. Can it be my toothpaste? I use colgate.

Please Please help me =]

It sounds like you may have a new cavity under your filling. What joy, huh?

That doesn't necessarily mean a root canal. Call your dentist Monday morning, okay?

You may have got a crack or hairline fracture in the filling. Sometimes all it takes is biting down on something for it to happen. All you can do is go to the dentist and have them take an xray.

could just be a leaky filling.
if it feels like its in your way of biting down
that is that's usually easily fixed.
but you really need a dentist.
