I always like making stuffed green peppers with ground sausage. You need to cut the tops off the peppers, and hollow them out, getting the core and all the seeds out. With the sausage, you can do several things. Sometimes I like to mix it with crushed saltines or I've also used rice. You can season it or spice it up or add any ingredients you want, really. I usually at least put diced onions in mine, and usually some garlic. You just fill up the hollowed out green peppers with the mixture, and bake it for awhile. The internal temperature needs to be at least 165 degrees. I would say 20-30 minutes and then check them. Additionally, you can sprinkle shredded cheese on top of them. I have used cheddar, and also mozzarella, but use whichever you like best. Hope this helps!

Brown sausage with 1/2 onion finely chopped, drain then return to skillet. Add 1 large can of Bush's baked beans, a drizzle of maple syrup or pancake syrup, a squeeze of spicy mustard & a couple sprinkles of worchester sauce. Simmer over low heat for about 20 minutes, then serve open faced over hamburger or sandwich buns......Yummy sloppy joes with a twist!!

I use it my Red Beans and Rice for a spicy cajun flavor. Also, you can combine it with Mac and Cheese, Patty Melts (grill it like a hamburger and top with grilled onions and melted cheese on Grilled toast)! These are a few of my favorites!

Sure. Add some peppers, mushrooms, onions and some tomato paste. Put it on hoagie rolls and add some mozzerella cheese. Wrap them in tin foil and put in oven until cheese melts. MMMmmmm!
