I have very soft shiny hair, (not bragging) and I want to dye it black, is there any dye that won't mess it up? I have a few friends who HAVE dyed their hair, and it got kind of bad, I love my hair right now, but I want it black! HELP!

just remember to use the conditioner that the box has in it . it will be soft . good luck .

Dying your hair will dry it out, so I would use a moisturizer you can buy at a saloon. What color is your real hair? If its a really light color I wouldn't do it, because you have to always do root touch ups. If you do dye it, get it done professionally :)

The morning before you dye it, be sure that you use a hot oil treatment and do not wash it the day of...use a shampoo/conditioner for colored hair and only wash it every couple of days to keep it healthy!

Just don't dye it ALL the time. Just when it needs it, and just make sure you use lots of conditioner.
Before you dye your hair black, think about when you want it not to be black anymore. It's impossible to get out again... I've experienced it. Wish i never done it :P

I would go to a salon if i was you! I had blondish hair and i dyed my hair dark and did it at a salon, it turned out great! It will not be that great at all if you dye it yourself or with a box

try he garnier dye color. because i dyed my hair wit garnier and my hair is still black and and i did it last yearin december.
