well i kinda need to go on a diet and i was wondering if applesauce is good for a diet. Some ppl tell me to eat regular apples instead but i can since i got braces and im gonna get them taken of like in 3 weeks so i got to be extra careful.

Yes, applesauce is good for you. Only, if you buy non-sweetened natural applesauce. The nutritional value is written on the box. Read a little, learn a lot. Whenever you buy any food, always read the product nutritional info.

It's good in moderation. Apples are naturally sweet so there is already a lot of sugar in it, and some manufacturers add more. So, if you have a regular serving, as with any other food, then you'll be ok. Read the lable though to see what a serving consists of.

Depends on the apple sauce and the diet. Most successful diets limit sugar and many apple sauces have added sugar. Good luck.
