My strictly indoor cat escaped last night to our patio and basically was roaming all over the area for about 8hrs. She is three legged due to the reaction 5 yrs ago to rabies vaccine-had to amputate her leg. So she is not current on vaccines. She was all covered in weeds-I have a feeling she was rolling in a grass. I gave her bath with anti bacterial soap, followed by cat shampoo and isolated her in a separate room. I have 3 more cats who are also not current on vaccines.
On Monday she is going to vet so that I cat get her Revolution for possible fleas and teaks she got.
Should I be worried about anything else? Like viruses ? I looked over the area to see if there are dead mice-nothing. She does not seem to have any scratches-I am worried she might have been with street cats. What else can I do?

if she isn't fixed you should either do that or check to make sure she isn't pregnant. but theres not much more to worry about then that. my cats are outside all the time and nothing has happend to them. dont worry to much, just ask about it at the vet.

How about getting current on vaccines? There is a legal requirement in most cities.
For exactly this reason and for animals that come into your house (like mice your cats hunt) or with others.
At this point, there is probably little point in the Revolution since you presumably killed off any fleas, etc., with the shampoos. Revolution also treats for heart worms which come from mosquitoes and the cat will have to be tested before being given it to prevent a dangerous release of dead worms if she has developed them.

Ask your vet especially. Look for strange behaviors from her.
