I have met 4 people so far in person that I first met online. Two are good friends now and 2 just drifted away, didn't seem to be any connection when we actually met. My daughter has met some people online that turned out to be real problems in person. My advice is just be careful and apply reasonable safeguards.

I met my best friend online and met him in real life too. My photographer is a friend who I met online. So yes I have met people I met online

Yes, I have... In fact, I met my husband that way... You need to use good judgement before you actually meet someone out in public, though. Take time to get to know them little better, and see how you feel... Good luck

Several. One turned out to be a really great guy, we fell in love and then he left me. Commitment issues. I wish I had seen the signs. I had no clue these kind of men existed. I cherish the 2 years we had, but I am so sad that he threw something so great away because of his issues.

Yes, and they've all been ridiculously caution women who immediately assumed I was a weirdo/psycho/murderer because I was on the internet. That ice shield is a tough one to bring down, and to me, if that's how a relationship is going to start off, then I can't be bothered.
