I don't know, but I've had LOADS done for me. 2 that particularly stick in my head were:
1. I was a new volunteer at a club for teenagers in a rough area when a group of them started to get funny with me. My ex (he'd split up with me) was also working there - came over, and generally sorted the situation out - got rid of them, and then was just kind to me. I think I'll always remember that. I've seen one guy on that street badly assaulted by another teenager, so yeah - it was a real risk for him, especially as there were a number of them.
2. Towards the end of uni I suffered with mental health problems. It was so bad that I couldn't function properly and knew that I needed to come back home, but I was terrified of taking the train, because I just didn't know if I would be able to do it. After one brief phonecall, my ex-youth leader dropped all his plans for the evening and drove all the way down to pick me up - about 3 1/2 hours each way - and he was great to me on the way back, we talked through what had been happening, and it was just really good. That's not the first time he's massively helped me out either. Him and his wife are FANTASTIC!
There are many other things which have been done for me which have massively impacted me; sometimes some wise advice, someone to listen to me, a gift, practical help with something, or a hug even. Yeah, many many times the church have been amazing to me. My words hardly begin to describe it.

My husband did the kindest act I have ever seen. He picked up a young fellow hitchhiking on a cold morning. When he found out that the young man hadn't eaten, he took him to a restaurant for breakfast, then drove him as far on his way as he could, and gave him his brand new jacket to keep warm, plus whatever money he had with him, to make sure he could get another meal.
I was pretty annoyed at first, about the new jacket, but then I got thinking "what if that had been my son, 4000 miles from home?"
He has done a lot of things like that, but never tells anyone.
By the way, he is another Dave H.

I think I must be a mean person as I can't think of a best act of kindness I have ever done for anyone!
To be honest most people would not know what their greatest act of kindness is, as they don't know how their actions have affect another person unless they tell them. Things they might think as great acts have an element of self-interest and may not be perceived that way by the recipient.
For all you know it might be that woman who you spoke to at the bus stop. She might have lonely and depressed. By you talking to her, you gave her the lift to help her through that day. She may have been suicidal, but you would not know that. It is often the kindness of strangers which has the biggest effect rather than those who are close to you, simply because they are perceived as having little or no self-interest by the recipient.

Yesterday I was waiting at the bus and a guy was sitting there (he looked as though he was homeless). He was kind and got up and offered me his seat. I told him I was okay as I had been sitting all morning. I felt as though I wanted to give him some money, but did not quite know how to approach the subject. He asked me for the time and we started a conversation. He told me about his car breaking down. I asked him if he needed some money and gave him some. This was not the best part. I hugged him and told him that God loved him. My daughter said he probably appreciated the hug more than the money. I hope both ministered to him. I was so thankful that I was able to share with someone that was in need. I received the blessing that day. Today I share my love with my fellow employees.

I like to think that the best acts of kindness that we do are the ones where we really don't think we're doing anything all that special, but we end up helping someone more than we ever know.

Feed clothe witness. Not all good acts are done out of kindness some are born of necessity.

While I cannot be positive, I think sharing my faith is the greatest act of kindness I can give. I don't expect anyone to agree, but it is the richest thing I own.

Last week I donated a computer system (Tower, monitor, printer, etc.) to the Salvation Army Family Store for a child.
I volunteer and give rides to people who do not have transportation.
I just try to help whenever I can.

I cared for this 93 y.o. lady and she lived in an adult care facility. Her son rarely visited and she often didn't have basic things like soap, toothbrush etc. The facility received her check but her money seemed to have "disappeared" when I told them she needed toiletries, etc. I would sometimes use my money to buy what she needed.
