Well, I suppose we all think that once in awhile, but every life is such an incredible gift, it would be such a tragedy to throw it away.

Every day. I believe however, that I am here to learn and grow, and help others in the best way I know how. God has kept me here even though I've been told by doctors 3 different times I would not make it through the night. That was back when I was young and dumb. Now I understand that I have a purpose to accomplish here on earth, and that I must fulfill it and not throw this gift of life back into my creators face.
Peace

I feel like that a lot mainly when things don't go my way in life. It's like I can't have anything I want so why must I stay here. That maybe selfish but that's how I feel sometimes. I wish I could at least take a break from earth every now and then and go to the spirit realm.

Of course, I am pretty sure that everyone goes through phases of depression and loneliness. Ask a soldier. Ask an amputee. Ask a child in the hospital that contracted H.I.V. from his mothers habits. Ask the soldier if he ever gets lonely, laying in that dark pit. See that amputee smile with gratitude at the Doc, that just helped him walk on his new legs. Listen to the child, whose questions creep at night in your mind, " why can't I live too?" Seriously, have a brush with the reaper, and I guarantee you will have more appreciation for your breath.

there may or may not be anything else after this. do you really want to give up all you have available to you?
that's a shame
I am an optimist but i have traces of cynicism in me and I just find it comical when things go horribly wrong as a result of poor planning and bad living.
life is not always good to me but I take a certain satisfaction from knowing that I did everything I could to make things right in my life and treated others well.
After that life is just a constant source of twisted humour.

I have never been unappreciative to God for his gift of life. There are too many grand things in this life for me to explore. How could I entertain thoughts that would be ungrateful? The older that I am, the more grateful I will be. What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? - Romans 8:31. The Lord daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah. - Psalm 68:19. Peace and God Bless.

I generally do not ask my self these questions. I give Thanks to God that I am here, every morning, then live my day the best I know how. I give thanks again before going to bed at night, and look at my day, to see where I could have done better. And yes, I do get tired, and then I know that I need to get some food for my body, and peace and rest for my soul in order to go on. I will keep on living until my Heavenly Father calls me home .I hope this is of some help.

Sure, this life is difficult and our growth is slow but how will we ever triumph over is if we don't stay here until we are called home. When you have accomplished alll you need to in this life the Lord will welcome you home. For now, do all you can to help your brothers and sisters her, learn all you can and savor those blessings you do receive.
