I am a college student and like most college students we have limited resources to make food. My dorm building has one kitchen and it pretty much just has a stove. I have a microwave and fridge in my dorm room. Any ideas?

Creamy pasta can be made by using 1 can of 98% fat-free cream of chicken soup, 1 can of water, 3 cups of penne pasta or 2 cups broken up pieces of spaghetti noodles, 1/2 cup of shredded cheese, 1/4 cup of grated parmesean cheese, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix all this up in a big bowl and pour into a greased pie pan or 8x8 brownie pan. Bake at 350* for about 50 mins or until noodles are cooked thru. You can add some chicken, turkey, or tuna to this, and if it seems too dry, add a little water and mix well.

Invest in a crockpot - can buy for around $20 bucks at Wal-Mart, and search for crockpot or slowcooker recipes online.

Buy items when on sale and use your crockpot like crazy so while you are in classes all day or working at night, you can have a hot decent meal ready any time.

I had the same problem when I lived in the dorms. Something that is good is if you stirfry some vegies and toss in some top ramen in. Or I found that the lean cuisine meals are preaty good. Hope this helps

Crock Pot is your ansewer. Try Red Beans and rice. You will need a bag of red beans (small size) or Cajun King brand. A good sasuage, like Chappel Hill, don't use Hillshire Farm. Chop a onion. slice sausage, and a can of Ro-Tel, one can or two of water. Put all in crock pot. Let cook 8 hours. Make rice and cornbread muffins. Have a nice day!!!

Hormel Chili Dip
-Get one full stick of cream cheese

-Get one can of Hormel Chili (I prefer no beans)

-Pour them in one of those bowl things that have tops on them and do not melt in the microvave

-Put it into the bowl and put the bowl in the microvave and heat for 1 minute

-Take it out stir it up and put it back in for 2 minutes

-Take it out and stir it again get some tortilla chips and you have delicious hormel chili dip

P.S. It gives you really, really bad gas and it usually gives you diarrhea!!!
