My 5 month old puppy has a little cut above her nose that I think she may have gotten from the groomers. I noticed it was bleeding a little today so I washed it with warm water and put some hydrogen peroxide on it with a cotton ball. Is this something I should keep doing to make sure it doesn't get infected? Is hydrogen peroxide ok to use on dogs? I am careful not to get any in her eyes...just want to make sure that is alright for dogs.

Veterinary Betadine solution is the best treatment for any kind of open wound. You can be sure and safe that your puppy will recover without any side effects.

Peroxide is a good antiseptic, but unfortunately it is caustic to tissue and will delay healing. The best thing you can use is a dilute solution of organic iodine, or chlorhexidine gluconate. Just keep it clean and it should be fine.
