For about 6 weeks this guy I met online and I had been emailing back and forth. We finally met in person about a week ago and I like him and would like to get to know him better. I told him that I would be happy to get together again and he has now offered to make me dinner at his house. Do you think I should accept or do you think I should suggest we meet out somewhere again? I'm not really worried about him doing anything bad, but I kind of don't want things to go too fast. If a guy offers to cook for you is that serious? I'm not the best at dating, so need some advice. Thanks.

Yeah, that does seem a little fast. The main question you should ask though is does this feel OK? Are you comfortable with this? If the answer is yes then go ahead and don't worry. If the answer is no then suggest going out to dinner instead. You may want to let him know that it's not him but you're not comfortable with this just yet.

I personally think that you should meet somewhere one more time in public before you go to his house or anything like that. Just tell him that you would like to go to his house and have him cook for you, but you would also like to meet in public one more time before you do that. He will probably understand and appreciate your honesty. Good luck :)

that is serious, when a guy offers to do that IMO....though you guys only met once and it was online...meet somewhere else, if he likes you back...he should understand or whatever

No. Do not go to his house! Tell him maybe some later date. It's too dangerous. Tell him you would rather go to a nice restaurant or maybe a movie and dinner.
