My daughter is definately easier to bring up than my son.
When she was little she was really content would quite happily sit for ages and occupy herself letting me do what I needed to. From a young age she's got up and got herself ready for school and she happily help with little chores. She's never been a demanding child and usually only needs telling once. She's 11 now though so I am wondering if all that going to change as she comes into her teenage years.
My son is totally the opposite. He's 2 1/2 years old and very highly strung and demanding. I never knew what a temper tantum was until I had him. He needs constant attention and entertaining. If he's out of sight and being quiet it usually means he's doing something he shouldn't. Keeping on top of the simplest things is difficult. While I'm doing one job he's usually creating 6 more for me or trying to shut the cat in the fridge. Even though he's alot more hard work than my daughter ever was he's very cheeky with it. Keeping a straight face can be very difficult sometimes. He's a bundle of fun and really loving when things go his way but raises hell when they don't. But as they say its just a phase and he'll grow out of it - I hope.

I even have 2 ladies, and that i'm an in basic terms toddler so I dont have any own journey, yet I do babysit my chum's little boy now and returned, and he's plenty less difficult than my ladies. My ladies make each and every thing so dramatic, the boy in basic terms takes a deep breath and each thing blows over. Boys even have so much less drama! and by way of their teenage years, i've got not heard everybody say a woman became less difficult. even however i became a quite reliable toddler (never snuck out, never did drugs, never have been given into criminal complication or drank), my parents nonetheless reported i became truthfully a handful. So my wager is on boys

I have a daughter my Friend has a son, she thinks boys are easier she thinks girls are high maintenance. Personally I think it's what you make it, I have moulded my daughter into a beautiful little girl who I am very proud of.

My mum always said boys were hard work and then got easier as they got older and girls were easy when they were little and got harder work as they got older. Having one of each of my own I think she was right!

In my case my boy (11) was born the most easy laid back baby ever! still so easy! Now as far as my precocious little 2 year old girl! she is VERY demanding!
I `ve always heard between the two(no matter sex) they will be opposite!
