No. He didn't. I wouldn't kill for my faith. I would kill in self-defense only... if then.

Nope. Remember when Peter tried to defend him in the Garden of Gethsemane? Jesus told Peter to put away his sword. I think you might get a better understanding if you take into consideration that the Apostle Paul, at Phillipians 1:7, talked about "defending and legally establishing the good news."

Defending the faith does not mean killing for Jesus.
"...the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God..." They are spiritual weapons.

No, and this is why the Muslims are killing people. They have misinterpreted what the writings stood for.

i would hardly believe that. but why wonder? i don't think any religion aproves killing and yet it is happening, people get killed in the name of god
