Okay I have to ask this question, why are so many men in their middle to late thirties geeks?

Okay I know this is a broad statement but I am 39 secure and single I happen to act and look younger than my age so I usually date men in their twenties. But as I get older I am tired of being the one with the money. So decided to date men my age and have discovered that they carry way too much baggage and have the tendency to be absolute geeks. To clarify further I am college educated but I listen to the Plain White T's, motorcycle ride and still skateboard. Yes it might seem immature of a women of my age doing these things but I also own a house and pay my bills. Are their fun guys out there who have their crap together and know who Camu is and who know who Aiden is?.

The question is about comfromity, not maturity, and lol not coolness, hahah thats a pop culture term and you using it just makes me lauff, your over 30 and you still feel the need to label? Not cool, yo, Not cool! Ether way it comes down to you and your ability to find and meet people of such a calibur. It really shouldn't be hard, don't you go out and skate-board/almsot kill your self on some wheeled device of some kind, you should meet plenty of people doing the same. ALso your not NORMAL to the extent that people at your age are not going to be any weather near you mentaility. Doesn't make you immature or anything, just more emotionally in tune with yourself, which to be frank, ISN'T YOUR GENERATION!!! Darn yeppies, and your cocain, and your big hair bands, darn was that a black mark on our social development, but I digress! I'm 26 and mines the 90's good old Lost generation! GO us! I guess.... ether way thou focus on your activities and just be satisfied finding people in there, or maybe hit up the gym or something. Its really not going to help one way or another your dealing with a problem I'm also dealing with, thats pretty much everyones so lost, confused, and socially betraied that they don't know what the heck there doing, so you and me to sister, are going to have heck with this.... good to see its a problem no matter your age, just of a different varities. I'm still dealing with people that put ROMANTIC love over the UNCONDITIONAL love of friendship? Then they wonder why they don't have friends, and there lover found someone else?
