It really depends on the kitty and its genealogy. Random bred cats become a guessing game while pedigree cats have a more definitive growth period. Quite a few pedigree cats (Persians Himalayans) are mature at 2 years. Other breeds like the Siberian or Maine Coon take up to five years to stop growing and adding muscle.

IMHO your kitty will stop growing her skeletal at 14 months while continuing to add muscle for about another 8 months until the age of two.

Very large breeds like the Maine Coon and the Ragdoll don't reach adulthood (or stop growing) till they're two years old.

Most cats 1 year old still have a little bit of growing to do yet, I'd think that at a year and a half, though, they'd be adult completely.

It depends on the sex of the cat, how well fed they are, and if they are fixed or not. My males cats did not stop growing until they were about 3 years old, even after they were fixed. My female cat also kept growing until she was about 2. I think if you get the males fixed younger, they grow smaller due to the lack of testosterone. A good quality food aids growth also.

It just depends on the cat. I had a neutered male cat that got bigger and gained a lot of weight. I now have a neutered male that pretty much got bigger, but stayed on the slim side. I had a spayed female once that stayed small, but got fatter. The spayed female I have now, stayed small, gained alittle weight. And I had a spayed female tha got big, but stayed slim. So it really depend on the cat.

Most animals reach their full-growth around 1 to 1 1/2 years of age.

My cat is 9 months old and fixed. She is 3 pounds overweight so I guess she is still growing one way or another.
