Are your thoughts racing a little fast? Do you need less sleep than usual? Are you starting to make decisions that aren't so good? Are you challenged to sit still? Is life tooooo wonderfully fantastic for no particular reason? Have you had other periods of depression? If so, that could be hypomania (subthreshold mania), and a symptom of bipolar. See a pschyatrist if this describes what's up with you. They are the MDs trained in differentiating between various illness, dx'ing and prescribing. That's not a counselor's specialty. A trip to your regular doctor for a check up would be a good move as well.

You dont need depressants. If you are manic see a doctor. Manic is a serious condition where you product too much of a hormone and it makes you happy hyper sometimes aggressive and can lead to many health problems. consult a psycologist about it to see if you truely have a problem and need help with it. If you indeed have a problem they will prescribe something like risperdol lithium paxil or the like. I have bipolar so I am familiar with these meds and what they do is to regulate the amount of ceratonin in your body giving you a full range of emotions but preventing an overabundance of them. this might be what you need

Hi If you are hyper all the time yes the doctor can give you something like bipolar people are at times really overly happy but at the end most crash down too depression. You can have bipolar and only have manic episodes but that is very rare and normal they are far more then just being happy. speak with your doctor if you think there is a real problem going on. If not just be happy and enjoy it. take care good luck

I am a really happy person too. I'm goofy and my friends say I have a young soul. But I am not a dumb blond. But there is happy, and theres always embarrassing people in public happy. If your friends are embarrassed by the way you act and you find that they make excuses to not hang out with you, than Id try to bring it down a notch. But than theres Adam Sandler, and Jim Carry. They are hilarious. But they are professional entertainers. Is your personality interfering with your personal relationships, jobs, or other situations? Consult you doctor and see what he says. I like your avitar by the way.

take what the reverend manic says and act on it. Bi polar can be a serious illness. Dont listen to the idiots who have written less than helpfull comments. There is an old saying there but for the grace of god go I lets hope gods grace does not inflict this awful illness on them

Somewhere in the Bible it says "There is a time for everything under the sun..A time to laugh...a time to cry.."etc. If you're laughing when it's a time to cry...that's not good..even for you. One time..at a really sad time in my life..they gave me Prozac..and I acted silly. I hated that and so I stopped taking them. I would go with the one who said "mood stabilizer"....if you feel like you're "too"happy. That can wear you out after a while. But if you're "in love"....that's a whole different story !!!

Be happy you're happy. wow that sounded weird. If it is a problem then talk to a doctor or something. I don't think there is medicine for that kind of thing but someone should be able to help you.

You are not married if you are too happy. You could be cured with a round of wedding vows and a wife who finds fault in everything you do.
