its only a sin to own a porsche if they use it to speed, run over children, or hotbox it

As long as you didn't steal it the LDS church does not care what kind of car you drive. Most LDS families do not have sportscars, it is hard to fit in our big families in a 2 seater.

Porsches and Beemers are so passe'. Every yuppie soccer mom has them. Vipers are nice, but, they're Chrysler Corp !
Every Vette is a classic, and they still deliver the most bang for your buck.

no I'm LDS and own a Volkswagen I know Mormons that own a porche. The church does not car what kind you car yo drive

Yes, it is wrong to own a Porche.
Even though Christ obviously teaches give ALL you have and follow him, most Mormons I see have far more worldly material than is necessary for survival.
Instead of living in trailer parks like Christ would have them, they are driving nice looking cars, living in large houses, and wearing "exceedingly fine" clothing.
They live in a first world country, and like most souls that live in such countries they are failing to give all they have. merely 10% and there proud of that.
