Depending on the fruit, when unripen, it would be sour/bland and usually very hard and crunchy, in general, just not very good! To ripen fruits like apples and pears more quickly, you can put them in a brown paper bag and place them in a dark place for a few days, that helps. :)

It depends on the type of fruit.
Most unripe fruit taste sour.

depends on which unripe fruit you are eating, an unripe pear will taste like a pear, an unripe banana will taste like a banana, and an unripe peach will taste like a peach.............
