I agree. My mom attributes getting a house to god rather than her working 9 to 6 for 5 days a week.

Seriously, I know what you mean, they say God would not allow this, it must be work of the devil. My belief is that nothing is possible without God, good and bad. Some people are so stubborn and think only of themselves that sometimes they have to learn compassion and love through tragedies and disasters, to have empathy, this either brings you closer to God or further away. It is a choice.........free will.

Satan also makes a handy scapegoat for the world's problems. Free will and the devil are the only way Christians can address the problem of evil without saying God is evil or at best, neutral. Things are easier to explain in polytheistic religions, where both good and bad coexist and are necessary.

Because people like to sugar coat things, when the spirit is testifying against their wickedness. and they need to feel reward for their deeds. Roman 8;27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is in the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saint according to the will of GOD. 28 :And we know that all things work together for good to them that loves GOD , to them who are the called according to his purpose. 9:1 I say the truth in CHRIST, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the HOLY GHOST.note Paul is here telling then that his on conscience is a witness, however we always try to husss!!! our conscience.because it hurt.

That is a double standard, which is where you have to give the fundies credit. Fundies -- from Pat Robertson to Osama bin Ladin -- blamed 9/11 and Katrina on God.
So, at least they are consistent.

They just haven't seen that good and bad are more complimentary than opposite. Bad is something that you must experience if you want to experience good. Otherwise how would you know the difference?

I never say it.
I think that mainly nonbelievers say it.
They want to blame God for the bad stuff.

Funny, it is my experience that if something good happens, it's "look what I did"
and if something bad happens its "why would God let this happen?"

Because if you spell God backwards, its doG, and doGs don't like cats, so therefore if you spell God forwards he does like cats, unlike satan, who is like a three-headed doG. Or something like that.
