I just fed my dog with a can of pedigree chum and found what looks to be a large bit of blue plastic in the food,Do i have a right to make a complaint as surely this can not be healthy to have in the food.I still have the bit with the plastic still stuck in the food but is it wrong to send it to pedigree.

No I would have a fit. GO to the website The Dog food Project they will tell you how that gets there and it happens more than it should. I feed only the holistic foods for that reason. But you have every right to make a complaint.

Go ahead.. They'll likely send you a coupon for a free can.. If you would even want it.. It's not like they are going to make a big settlement with you.. You could take the can to the store w/ the plastic and they would probably replace it for you even.. Pedigree Chum... That sounds like something they use to catch fish in the ocean or something.. Shark bait.. Is it a fish based food???

Absolutely make a complaint! Plastic does not belong in the food. What if hadn't caught it and your dog had eaten it and it caused a problem?
I wouldn't hesitate to call them and complain. Who knows what else "accidentally" got in there!

Yes you should complain. With all the recent recalls I complain like crazy!

Go to their web site and send them an e-mail. Put the bar code number in the e-mail too.
